Today, Prototype has announced that the Nintendo Switch port for Chou no Doku Hana no Kusari or Butterfly’s Poison; Blood Chains (English title) will be heading the west this coming October 27, 2022.
Update: Prototype has recently posted on Twitter that the global release will be delayed to November 11, 2022.
Chou no Doku Hana no Kusari (Butterfly’s Poison; Blood Chains) was a game originally developed by the company Aromarie, and released as an R18 Otome Game for PC back in May 2011. A watered down 17+ version of the game was later released and ported to the PSP and the PS Vita console in the year 2014. It was in February 2020 that publishers, Prototype ported the (PS Vita version of the) game to the Nintendo Switch.
In the same year, the switch version was ported; the mobile game company Abracadabra Games picked up its localization and released “Chou no Doku -Ripple Effect Stories-“ for mobile (Android and iOS) in April 2020. Unfortunately, the mobile app did not last long as the publishers, Abracadabra Games, discontinued the app and had to pull it out from their roster English mobile games in the same year.

The publishers announced on Twitter yesterday that there will be delays on the worldwide eshop release. However if you have the JP copy of the game already, you can simply download the patch to play it in English. (Not exactly sure how long the delay would be)
