Taisho x Alice ALL in ONE (English) is coming to the Nintendo Switch April 14!

The English version of the beloved Primula Otome game, Taisho x Alice is finally coming to the eshop! Today, Prototype released (in their YT channel) the trailer/opening movie of Taisho x Alice: All in One, with a release date of April 14, 2022.

The English version of Taisho x Alice: All in One is a collection of Taisho x Alice Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3 and the Epilogue which was originally released on Steam (PC) in the years 2019 and 2020.

SYNOPSIS

Once upon a time, in a topsy-turvy world…

In the beginning, you find yourself lost within a world of utter darkness. Your memories are gone; even your name is a mystery.
But just when the bitter loneliness threatens to break your spirit, you meet Alice—a blond-haired, blue-eyed young man who promptly christens you “Arisu.”
Like you, Alice cannot remember anything beyond his own name. Ignoring his protests, you drag him along with you through the darkness… until you happen upon a massive mirror made of crystal.
You stumble through the glass and into the Looking-Glass World, an antiquated fairytale dreamscape that feels oddly familiar…
There, amid a colorful cast of gender-swapped fairytale characters, you take on the role of the heroine and join them in their twisted tales.

How will the story end? It’s up to you!

  1. Oh my, the amount of English otome announcements this year is already insane!! I’m really happy to hear all the games will be coming to switch as I prefer playing otome there than on my PC! 🙂

  2. Crossing my fingers for a physical release as well. Prototype has a history or releasing physical Otome games and this one already got a physical Japanese version for PS Vita and Switch. So I see no reason why they can’t do another multi language physical for everyone else.

    1. For anyone else that wants a physical copy. Prototype released a English text mode add-on in the eshop for 4.99 or you can buy it bundled with the digital game. The add-on works with the physical game of Taisho x Alice: All in One. So you can purchase a Japanese physical copy and still play it in English if you are willing to be up charged by the combination of obtaining a imported Japanese physical copy game and buying the 4.99 English text mode add-on. I hope this doesn’t become a trend for future otome releases as it clearly pushes for digital games only and gets expensive for any consumer that prefers physical copies.
