Kickstarter Announced for ZombiSeed, A Joseimuke Visual Novel × Card Battle RPG

Indie developers LemonVelvet recently announced that they will be launching a Kickstarter campaign for ZombiSeed, a hybrid joseimuke visual novel and turn-based card battle RPG set in a post-apocalyptic school fantasy world.

ZombiSeed is a character-driven joseimuke title focused on mentorship, trust, and emotional bonds rather than romance. The Kickstarter campaign is planned to open in September 2026, with pre-orders currently available ahead of the campaign’s official launch.

Players interested in trying the game can also check out a free approximately 30-minute PC demo on itch.io, focused entirely on the Visual Novel/story portion of the game.
