Lovely, Inc. is set to captivate romance gamers with their debut console and PC title, “Snowkissed Romance,” a nostalgic love story set in the mid-90s at a ski resort in Northern Japan.
This title is a complete reimagining of the company’s very first game, and marks their third release. The new “Snowkissed Romance” draws inspiration from beloved Japan-exclusive otome classics of the same era, including Angelique and the Tokimeki Memorial series. This entry offers a fresh perspective to the romance genre as a whole, providing players with a richly detailed world unique to them, filled with plenty of surprises to uncover.
ABOUT THE GAME
Set in a charming ski resort in a mystical Northern Japanese town, the game takes place during your final winter break before college. What starts as a relaxing holiday soon becomes an emotional journey when you reunite with your brother and his three college roommates—childhood friends who moved away years ago—alongside some new faces. Players can immerse themselves in a heartwarming slice-of-life romance with emotional depth, meaningful choices, and engaging stat-building mechanics.

Snowkissed Romance’s personality system puts players in the story like never before. This innovative new personality system considers choices made at the start of the game, including your zodiac sign and blood type, and evolves based on your actions, dialogue choices, and how you spend your time. These dynamics influence compatibility with all characters, leading to a wide array of unique stories and endings.
In addition to stat-building mechanics, the title will also include a fun mini-game! Whenever you need extra money for gifts and items, you can stop by your aunt’s cocoa shop. Make the correct drink orders in perfect timing to complete a successful shift.
To enhance the immersive experience, Snowkissed Romance features the voices of top anime voice actors, including David Matranga, Aaron Dismuke, and Jessie James Grelle.
DEMO, KICKSTARTER, & RElease Platforms
The “Snowkissed Romance” demo is set to launch December 20th, 2024, alongside a Kickstarter campaign to support the complete launch in 2025. Players will experience a few in-game days to engage with these innovative mechanics firsthand in the demo. The founders of Lovely Inc., Kayla Michelle and Yana Raeven, are elated to not only revitalize their original game concept but also introduce new elements to the romance genre—all while capturing the cherished nostalgia of the mid-90s era.
The full game is planned for release in the winter of 2025 on PC and console. This release marks Lovely Inc.’s first foray into the console market, having previously developed exclusively for mobile.
