HoYoverse announced today that its romance detective title, Tears of Themis, will launch a large-scale fantasy event, The Last Dragonbreath, on September 29, 2024. Players will embark on a fantasy adventure in the land of Dragonbreath within a virtual game, where they will craft a thrilling elegy of fates and have the chance to obtain event-limited SSR cards, a limited Invitation, and other great rewards.
Highlights of The Last Dragonbreath event include:
- An epic adventure in the virtual land of Dragonbreath, where players will uncover a thousand-year destiny alongside the NXX team.
- A themed Shadow of Themis event featuring special cards and stories for each of the four male leads.
- Event-limited Invitation, Namecard, Tears of Themis – Limited ×10, and other rewards.
In The Last Dragonbreath event, the NXX team plunges into a virtual game world, embarking on an epic adventure to solve a unique case. Each of the four male leads takes on a distinct role, guiding and assisting players as they explore the land of Dragonbreath. As the story unfolds, players become entwined in a thousand-year destiny, seeking to soothe the sorrow of the dragons.
The event spans three distinct regions, where players can complete tasks, engage in battles, and open treasure chests to acquire a variety of special items, ensuring they are well-prepared for the journey ahead. By completing Main Story, Side Stories, and Daily Tasks, players gather clues to gradually uncover the secrets hidden within the land. Along the way, players can collect Hero Coins, which can be exchanged for valuable rewards such as the event-exclusive “Codename: NXX” Invitation, the limited-edition “Together Across Time” Badge, and unique R cards featuring each of the four male leads.
With the release of the fantasy event, the limited-time The Last Dragonbreath Event Shadow of Themis will also be available. Players will have the chance to obtain event-limited SSR cards:
- Luke’s “Falling Dreams“
- Artem’s “Crucible of Rebirth“
- Vyn’s “Silent Desolation“
- Marius’ “Vow of Embers“
These cards will have an increased draw rate during the event, allowing players to rewrite their predestined ending together.
As players embark on their adventure in the land of Dragonbreath, the Dragonbreath Tavern will serve as a reliable haven, offering essential supplies to support them throughout their journey. By completing time-limited tasks at the Dragonbreath Tavern, players can obtain the event-limited “Celebration – Dragonbreath” Namecard, Tears of Themis – Limited ×10, and other generous rewards. Players can use the Tears of Themis – Limited to draw cards in the The Last Dragonbreath Event Shadow of Themis.
Additionally, players who accumulate Total Purchases to specified amounts during the event will receive the exclusive Marius SSR card “Wishes Across Time,” a limited Namecard, and other valuable rewards. Dragonbreath-themed outfits and backgrounds will also be available for purchase in the Cosmetics Shop at a limited-time discount.
