HoYoverse announced today that the romantic detective title, Tears of Themis, will be launching a series of limited-time events to celebrate Vyn Richter’s birthday.
This year, players will create new birthday memories with Vyn and participate in limited-time birthday tasks to obtain a Vyn R card, limited invitation, and other generous rewards. An all-new Vyn SSR “Journey Forth With You” will also be obtainable. Furthermore, players can reminisce about precious moments with him via the past birthday rerun events.
Highlights of Vyn’s birthday celebrations include:
- Create new memories with Vyn by joining special birthday activities that also brings rich rewards including a new Invitation and more.
- Vyn’s new birthday SSR card “Journey Forth With You” bringing a story from his past will be released with an increased draw rate.

“A Toast to Our Love” Birthday Limited-Time Event Available
To mark Vyn’s birthday on September 27th, a series of Vyn’s birthday events will gradually be released starting Sept. 14, 2024. During the events, Attorneys can participate in special debate challenges using Vyn cards, accompany him on charming outings, and help him select unique outfits for his birthday activities, creating cherished memories together.
Join in the events and complete the limited-time tasks to obtain the Vyn R card “Candlelight,” the “Departure from Dreams” birthday invitation, the “A Toast to Our Love” event badge, Tears of Themis, and various limited rewards. Additionally, players will receive Vyn’s birthday exclusive voice call when they log in during the event period!
New Vyn SSR Card “Journey Forth With You”
Beginning on Sept. 17, 2024, an all-new Vyn SSR card, “Journey Forth With You,” will be released with an increased draw rate. The aches of the distant past resurface. The candle flames flicker as they light the solitary boat that sails forth. Unlock the card and delve into the dark echoes of Vyn’s past. The young man from the past longed for freedom, but now that his heart is whole, he yearns to be by his lover’s side forever.
Event Reruns
A limited-time rerun of Vyn’s birthday series will also be released, offering players the chance to obtain Vyn’s birthday SSR cards: “Dreams of Light,” “A Star in the Night,” and “Fetters of the Past.” Additionally, players can exchange for previous Vyn birthday R cards. Past Vyn birthday outfits and furniture will also become permanently available for players.

Tears of Themis – HEYTEA Collab in New York City
Besides, this summer, Tears of Themis teamed up with the popular New Asian tea brand, HEYTEA, to bring fans in the United States an exciting collaboration. Four themed beverages and exclusive merchandise featuring the four male leads from Tears of Themis were introduced at the HEYTEA Broadway and HEYTEA Flushing Main Street stores in New York City.
