| Director: | Fumiyoshi Tatematsu |
| Scenario: | Ririka Yoshimura |
| OST: | Osamu Masaki (Composer, Lyrics), The Biscats (Vocals,) |
| BGM: | Jun Ichikawa, Julydex |
Cupid Parasite: Sweet and Spicy Darling was developed by the same team behind the first game in the series, Cupid Parasite. Fumiyoshi Tatematsu served as the head director, and Ririka Yoshimura, the lead writer. Illustrator Yuuya also spearheaded the game’s overall art, as they did for the first game. To be honest, I normally like anything Yuuya touches. I am just a big fan of this artist, so needless to say, I very much enjoyed Sweet and Spicy Darling’s beautiful CGs and the characters’ new sprite variations.
The new soundtrack was also delightful! The ED song by The Biscats is practically on replay in my Spotify playlist! 🥰 Also, Just like in the previous game, most of the BGMs and character tracks in Sweet and Spicy Darling were samples of actual EDM tracks/remixes, and I had a lot of casual fun looking up the original tunes.😁 Below, I’ve compiled most of the tracks that were sampled for the character themes. You’re welcome!

MAIN CHARACTERS AND ROUTES

Since this is a fandisc, there are no storylines that are locked or restricted, meaning you can start the game with any character you choose. I do want to note that some side characters play significant roles in certain storylines. So, if you’re someone who prefers to preserve the element of surprise near the end, it might be best to start with routes where these side characters’ motives and backgrounds are not heavily hinted at.
In my opinion, Raul and Allan’s after-dramas contain the most revelations about certain side characters, so it might be best to save these two for last. However, ultimately, I don’t think this matters too much, and I’m mostly just thinking out loud! (laughs) 😅
By no means this is a recommended play order, but if you’re curious, I went with: Merenice → Ryuki → Shelby → Gil → Peter → Allan → Raul. And I very much enjoyed this sequence. Ideally, Allan would be a great route to end the game with. I only picked Raul last because he was my favorite in the first game and I’m a save-the-best-for-last kinda gal.😙

RYUKI KEISAIIN

Story Enjoyment: 7.5/10
Fan Service & Spice: 7/10
This after-story introduced Ryuki and Lynette’s ups and downs as lovers, which is kind of what I’d expected given their dynamic from the first game. But ngl, the lack of communication between them bothered me a bit. Though I completely understand it was needed to drive the plot forward. Personally, I prefer to see them in a healthy relationship founded on genuine trust and open communication, rather than shying away from their true feelings, because…didn’t they already go through this in the first game? (This is more of a gripe about Ryuki’s character arc than Lynette’s; Lynette was great here!) Anyway, I’m glad this little conflict didn’t drag on for too long and they were able to hash it out quickly.
I also thought Ryuki getting insecure was a believable flaw given his role as the former ‘glamour parasite’. It made sense how his jealousy arc played out so prominently in this after-story. It was actually kind of nice to witness him extremely contending with meeting a true rival of his own for the first time, and how this newfound competition clouded his trust in Lynette, giving him many things to work on and grow from, not only as a world-renowned designer but also as Lynette’s fiancé.
Despite my gripes, I really enjoyed this route all the way up to his Sweet and Spicy End. His best ending was absolutely good! loved it! And the CGs along with it were gorgeous! I was in complete awe!🥺 However, I have to be honest, his spicy ending did not sit well with me as it felt totally out of character for Ryuki. It seemed like it was just thrown in there solely for the sake of kinks, so I was rather meh about it.🤷♀️
⬇️ Spoilers
Spicy Ending:
My main issue was the voyeurism in this ending, as it was so out of the blue! The scenes leading up to it, with Lynette turning down Ray Under’s proposal to be in a polyamorous relationship with him and Ryuki, completely hinted that she was totally against it. Ryuki had quite a fit with Ray too when he showed interest in Lynette, so I was completely flabbergasted by his sudden change of heart at the end, where he’s now totally OK with Ray watching them do the deed, all for the sake of proving a point? What point? Trying to show he’s leagues ahead of Ray in their little rivalry? Trying to prove to Ray that he wins because he gets the girl? Idk man, he already lost when he let Ray in. It was just so out of character for Ryuki to do this, and it all happened so abruptly that Lynette couldn’t even get a word in. She was kind of just dragged into pandering a voyeur kink, which made the scene even more uncomfortable for me. It would have been at least somewhat better if she was 100% on board with the idea, but nope, there was no nuance established about it, hence why I’m quite icked.
It’s like they completely disregarded all of Ryuki’s character growth just for the sake of throwing in a kink or two for plot edginess. I can’t believe I’m getting riled up about this(cackling)😂😂😂 But seriously! #NOTMyRyuki Nope! not in my house!😤
SHELBY SNAIL

Story Enjoyment: 7/10
Fan Service & Spice: 9/10
Shelby’s after-drama was quite… an experience! I have mixed feelings about this route, more towards the positives than the negatives. In hindsight, I like how this route tackled a very realistic married-life issue, especially for a pragma couple like Shelby and Lynette.
Just like Ryuki, Shelby had ample room to grow in this relationship. This after-story did a great job of highlighting many of his shortcomings as a life partner. I just wish their issue hadn’t been dragged out for so long. On the other hand, I did appreciate how the make-up lovemaking was hot as hell. The longer the problem dragged on, the hotter the make-up sex, I guess? (laughs)
Also speaking of make-up-seggs. This route had quite a LOT of em’! In the office, in the car, in the kitchen, in the bathroom! OMG, Shelby, calm down! (JK, Don’t calm down, LOL)🥵 Honestly, I love seeing this wild side of Shelby. Indeed, it’s always the quiet ones!🤭 In addition, I like Shelby’s Sweet Ending more than his Best End (which was also good). I thought the former, was more on-brand to his SS persona.
…In a nutshell, this route is basically just Shelby Snail trying to husband.
⬇️ Spoilers
I can’t believe they did this to Shelby!😭😂 I mean, come on! THE DUDE IS SS KING!! But I guess he’s only human and not SS on everything. Unless, by SS you mean, SOFT AND SAGGY! 😭 Was it really a good a idea to add in his narrative that his D got limp during the deed? and that he had to eat soft shell turtle to get his wang to wake the heck back up?😂 It’s hilarious af ngl (I’m even cackling right now writing this), but now I feel bad for Shelby. Ain’t nobody wanna bang limp-dique-skit! LOL I also felt kinda annoyed that Shelby did not communicate with Lynette properly and completely evaded her for days. Like, I get it! His ego was crushed by his erectile dysfunction. But pls sir, talk to your wife dammit!😤 He also dismissed her Cupid confession, which I guess was very much like him to do, so I wasn’t really too hung up on that. Kudos to Lynette for being very trusting of Shelby. She knew the man is just very weak inside, and she supported him through and through! Best wife!
His BAD Spicy Ending, for some reason, I have actually quite enjoyed. As much as I hate infidelity in my otome games, I wasn’t too-too mad about Lynette cheating with Eli Omar. Perhaps I’m just biased towards Eli and his VA? LOL 😂 Oops. Or maybe it’s because I didn’t play Raul’s route prior to Shelby, and Eli was a total clown in Raul’s route! Haha. Or, Idk, I guess after playing Ryuki’s WTF-voyeur-kink Spicy end, I just started considering all the SPICY ends as BAD ends and didn’t take them seriously. Who knows! 💁♀️
Lastly I’m noticing a pattern in both Ryuki and Shelby’s alternative spicy ends where they end up being defeated by their own stereotypes. Ryuki as the glamour parasite ended up losing to Ray Under who is canonically more beautiful than him (according to the game), and Shelby as the prestige parasite losing to Eli Omar, who in the game possessed an even greater prestige or status than Shelby. It’s definitely a nice concept to explore the potential downfalls of their defining traits. However, I wasn’t too crazy about how everything was executed.🤷🏻♀️
GILL LOVECRAFT

Story Enjoyment: 8/10
Fan Service & Spice: 8/10
I completely forgot how Gill is practically Bruce Wayne; freakin’ rich, a genius, lives in a mansion, has a butler…the whole nine!😂
I’m actually one of the few who enjoyed Gill’s route in the first game, so I was very much looking forward to him in the FD! I loved Gill’s after-drama because, unlike Ryuki and Shelby’s stories, his didn’t play up the ‘miscommunication trope,’ which I had grown very tired of after encountering the same shtick twice in a row in this game! This route was also pretty refreshing because Gill and Lynette had very good communication. Their trust in each other was firm, unbounded, and it felt great to see them navigate a very healthy marriage life. This is exactly how I wanted my FD’s after-stories to go. Give me all the fluff, and save the drama and angst for a sequel! 🤣 Gill, was also very considerate towards Lynette. While Lynette grappled with thoughts about her career, Gill was very supportive and even encouraged her to do whatever she felt was right. TBH, just knowing that he had Lynette’s back no matter what, without compromising anything, hit the right spot for me!🥰
True to his route in the first game, the events here were pretty hilarious and very on-brand with Gill’s original storyline, and I really appreciated that. This route didn’t try to be something it’s not. It was just a very straightforward Gil Lovecraft route! And I love it for that! All in all, I really enjoyed this after-story from the start all the way up to his Best Ending. A few scenes got kind of over the top, but since I found the route so fun, I just shrugged off the mere 10 minutes of wtf-ness and chalked it up to comedy. 😂
Also, I’m curious……what did Gill do on the night after their second wedding that made Lynette so embarrassed the next morning?👀 🫣
⬇️ Spoilers
My “over the top” comment above was referring to how he became yandere in his spicy end out of fear that Lynette would get kidnapped again if she went out.😂 lol On the other hand, I totally dig Gill becoming ironman in this route! It’s so very him! Another thing I also appreciated about this route was Claris and Robin! My god! I love them so much! I can’t get enough of this ship! I NEED MORE Claris and Robin screentime please!!!
Additionally, I loved how spicy some of the scenes got in Gill’s route. Garage-segs used to be not my thing but Osborn from Light and Night convinced me 100% that it aint a bad place to do it! HAHA🙈🥵
RAUL ACONITE

Story Enjoyment: 10/10
Fan Service & Spice: 10/10
Disclaimer: I am Raul-biased. Mister Aconite, the Obsessed Parasite, was my fav. in the first game, and it took all my willpower to restrain myself from playing Raul’s after-drama right away. I saved him for last because I wanted to end my game on a high note, and my god, I’m so glad I did! This route gave me everything I’ve wanted in this fandisk, and more! I…👏 just…👏 love…👏 this…👏 himbo so much, you have no clue!!😩
Just like Gill’s, this route didn’t try to be something it isn’t or venture into new territory. It remained consistent with Raul’s storyline from the previous title, which I truly appreciated. What I absolutely adored was Lynette and Raul’s healthy relationship. They were so honest with each other, making their dynamic very comforting to watch. There weren’t any misunderstandings because they always made it a point to talk if something was bothering them.
I also loved how Raul constantly mulled over his feelings for Lynette. He’s head over heels for his woman, and seeing this side of him was too adorable.🥺 I couldn’t stop grinning like an idiot. The entire route had me giggling and smiling all throughout, my cheeks actually started hurting! LOL. Also, since Raul’s love language is ‘physical’ by nature, his spicy scenes were all too good! Too hot! Too sexy! That thing he did in the attic was just… hnngg…🥵
The comedy here also seemed to have landed just right for me. As someone who regularly enjoys B-tier absurd comedy cult classics (like Mom and Dad save the world lol) 😂 I legit hollered and chuckled way too many times to count in this route. The pacing wasn’t off either; it knew when to be serious, when to be funny, and when to be over-the-top! And I’m telling you, if you thought his route in the first game was too extra, a tad too ludicrous, this one here is ten times more! It was hilariously whimsical! Lastly, this is also the only route in the game where I absolutely loved ALL endings.
⬇️ Spoilers
Also YAY!!! A route with more Robin screentime! AND OH MY GOODNESS! MY GIRL CLARIS HAS TASTE! I did not expect the man to be an undercover CIA agent. Holy shit! He was so wonderful!😍 I’m so happy I made the call to save this route for last, because that reveal with Robin and Omar really contributed to my whole enjoyment of the game.
Also, Raul was just so great here! As if him wrestling a manticore in his nakedness in the first game wasn’t enough, the dude literally came barreling down from the sky driving a motorcycle, hopping through roofs in the old town on his way to rescue Lynette here. That’s Raul Aconite for you, bb! This route is just so very him and all his himbo-glory! I loved it so much! BEST BOI!
Lastly, the scene where Lynette was dreaming (read: having a nightmare) of Raul’s flopped movie where he plays as a dog, lives in my brain rent-free! Oh my god, its so hilarious! I was severly wheezing!😂😂😂
ALLAN MELVILLE

Story Enjoyment: 9/10
Fan Service & Spice: 8/10
Truth be told, I wasn’t really a superfan of Allan like everyone else seemed to be. While many loved his route in the first game, I found it just alright. However, in this fandisc, his character shines in a new light for me, and now, after all these years, I finally get it!😂 (cackles) I don’t know why I’m only realizing this now, but yeah, the Lynette x Allan ship is 👌. They were truly a pair like no other!
This route highlighted Lynette and Allan’s codependency, which is pretty much their core dynamic given their history in the first game. I actually felt quite sad during the first half of his route, knowing well that they can’t remain in the human world for long now that they are both full-fledged demons. They had to sacrifice a lot of things just to be together. How the couple brought up that they wished they could’ve had a normal wedding with their friends around had me bawling out of nowhere. It hurts so much!😭 Allan Melville’s after-drama definitely encapsulated a very forlorn and bittersweet tone. Angst-enjoyers are definitely going to eat this one up!
⬇️ Spoilers
While the initial half of this route was melancholic, the latter half became quite chaotic. And even though I still enjoyed it for what it is, some story elements did feel a bit drawn out. To be honest, I wasn’t too crazy about the war between gods and demons subplot. If anything, it felt like I was playing an AU version of ‘What in Hell is Bad.’ lol 😂 I also thought it unnecessarily dragged the story quite a bit.
As far as the spicy scenes go, there were many instances where the game implies that Allan and Lynette are intimate, given the nature of how demons feed on each other. Basically, their survival depends on daily acts of lovemaking and giving and receiving it frequently. However, there were no CGs in any of these implied instances. Why? I felt kind of cheated! SOBS 😭
PETER FLAGE

Story Enjoyment: 5/10
Fan Service & Spice: 6/10
So, the initial plot of Peter’s after-drama was Lynette and Jupiter/Peter having to return to the human world to help Peter un-Chii himself and stop him from being a nervous wreck all the time. At first, I was like, “Okay cool, we get to see some Los York moments between these two.” Sure enough, this premise merely served as fodder for whatever mishmash of garbage they managed to concoct together for this route.
I am honestly very disappointed. 😒 This route was just not it for me. Half of it was spent on Lynette and Peter being awkward with each other. It was painfully uncomfortable to watch. Instead of actually building on Lynette and Peter’s unique dynamic from the first game and leveraging on its potential, this after-story seems to have flushed it down the toilet. It’s as if their chemistry from the first installment didn’t exist. Did all those fluffy moments hold no significance? What in the heck happened? On top of that, they are supposed to be a married couple who spent years together in Celestia. This whole ordeal really felt out of character for both of them. I’m really sad about this; for about 80% of this route, I just felt very disconnected from it.😔
⬇️ Spoilers
What is up with all this awkwardness BS when all they really wanted to do is bang each other’s brains out. Seriously, what happened?
On top of that, the second half of this route was a giant amalgamation of boring, repetitive issues from the previous game. You’d think they were done with the Zeus subplot, but oh god, not this again, please! While I didn’t mind the ridiculous batshit scenarios of the gods journeying into outer space to charge up their powers, the whole execution left me unimpressed. There was just too much unnecessary prattling going on. I was legit falling asleep!
Spicy Ending: Oh good lord, I did not expect this fury-fawking ending. HAHA WHAT THE FUCK? I would’ve just shrugged it off if they kept Jupiter’s voice as Jupiter, but when you have Noburin, screeching and growling like RUFF RUFF WOOF WOOF GRAWR RAWWGH during sex – I’m out!😂😭 I’m sorry I can’t do it!!
MERENICE LEVIN
- Donut bro
- …is alright!🥺

Story Enjoyment: 7.5/10
Fan Service: 8/10
I actually played Merenice’s route first, and I believe this helped me enjoy his story more than I expected. I feel like if I had chosen to play him last, I probably would have already been fatigued by the repetitiveness of a few exhausting tropes in the previous routes, not to mention my sheer disappointment with Peter’s after-story.
I tried my best not to get swayed by Merenice’s charm, but it was hard when his VA sounded like that. I’m such a sucker for the soft boys! 🥺 All in all, this route was nice, BUT it also left me with very mixed feelings. Merenice’s romantic interest in Lynette seems to be based on the fact that he cannot foresee her destiny, unlike others. And this “mystery” makes her special to him. While I do enjoy this trope, I had to play devil’s advocate a little here. If Lynette were an ordinary human being, Merenice might not have even considered her at all. It’s such a contrast to the other six parasites who gradually fell for the heroine over time, not because she was “special” right off the bat.
Yes, unfortunately, it is quite hard not to compare him with the other LIs, and I know it’s not fair to do so because he’s obviously a new character and was kind of just shoved into the narrative. I think if you can overlook the lack of nuance and the somewhat contrived reasoning for their romantic development, you’ll end up liking Merenice a lot.
At the end of it all, I did enjoy this route fully. They had to push the “he’s totally good in bed” narrative to compensate for the lack of depth in this route, and hey, I ain’t complaining! I’ll take whatever crumbs of spice I can get! 😂
⬇️ Spoilers
Another nitpick I have with Merenice’s route was when he discovered he’s some type of godly-alien and was needed to go to the Karanchin planet; he was ready to leave Lynette despite his love for her. I understand his disillusionment upon learning that Lynette was Cupid, the god, and it shattered his belief in them being “fated”. But here I am thinking that the other guys probably wouldn’t do that, right? Especially Allan! Not in a million years would he think of giving up on her like that.
On a different note, I think I have enjoyed this route, LARGELY because of Claris and Robin! The double date of Lynette-Merenice with Claris and Robin was too good! I really wish there was more Claris x Robin content! I adore them too much!🥺 Fanfic writers, you know what to do! (and please tag me with your works as I am desperate for more Claris x Robin content! lol)
OWEN HERRIOT

That’s right! Owen’s got his own ending but…
It was too short? The fact that it branches off from one of Merenice’s chapters felt a bit misplaced to me. I did enjoy learning more about Owen; he was surprisingly an awesome character and a potentially great LI to boot. But with the little screen time he had, his romance with Lynette felt kind of forced. If anything, it felt like a one-shot fanfic. Good for the Owen fans, though! His CG was hecking beautiful!👀 I don’t mean to sound like a downer but I’m greedy and I wish they would’ve given him more chapters!
SYSTEM AND LOCALIZATION
Color-vomit, bright menus.
Prepare to be bombarded with explosions of vibrant pop colors! Just like the aesthetics of the first game, the UI for CP: Sweet and Spicy Darling is overpoweringly bright and bouncy! Everything is laden with hues of bright colors, and the menus seem to be all over the place. It’s anything but a tightly knit, cohesive, clean design. I don’t mean for this to sound harsh, by the way, because I actually enjoy this kind of aesthetic. (I mean, just look at this run-down website!) 😂 (cackles). However, just bear in mind that it’s definitely not suitable for those who are easily overwhelmed by excessive visual stimuli.
MAPS

The Maps section allows you access to the maps of Los York and D’amour Paradis. Certain character voiceovers unlock after completing specific endings in the game. This was a fun little addition to the system! Other game features follow the standard Otomate features, such as:
- Love Catch System
- Sweet & Spicy gauge – helps you track which ending you’re heading to.
- Flowchart
- Choice Jump
- Voice Memory
- Event Views
- Gallery/BGM Collection
- Controller Vibration
Localization
The localization of the game was handled very well. The gags and jokes landed spot-on in several comedic scenes. I’ve also noticed there are barely any typos or text errors in the game. A job well done by IFI’s localization team!
TRAILER
OVERALL THOUGHTS
It took me about 45-50 hours to clear the entire game and unlock all of its endings. I played in auto-mode while my switch was docked, so technically, if you’re a fast reader, you can pretty much finish this game in less time.
Cupid Parasite: Sweet and Spicy Darling has three main endings in the after-drama segment: the Sweet & Spicy End (best), the Sweet End (good), and the Spicy End. The Spicy End can border on something akin to an actual bad end or a kinky, totally out there, this-was-not-in-my-otome-bingo-card kind of ending.
It’s Not Cupid Parasite without the Wild Hijinks and Buffoonery!
Keep in mind, this is Cupid Parasite; a series where absurdity and silliness are quite the norm. The charm of this game lies in its outlandish, totally-out-there plot twists and over-the-top scenarios. In the fandisc, Cupid Parasite: Sweet and Spicy Darling, the quirky charm of the series continues to shine. It certainly lives up to its predecessor by delivering some of the wackiest, most farcical plot twists I’ve ever encountered in Otomate’s recent library. I know I’ve mentioned this before in my previous review, but I’ll say it again here: any kind of logical notions need to be thrown out the window to fully amplify your enjoyment of this game. Don’t expect it to be serious, as you’ll only be disappointed. It’s one of those fantastical romcoms where you just have to turn off your brain and go with the flow. 😂 I couldn’t really count the times I’ve cackled out loud from the unexpected kicker the game throws at you. So yeah, needless to say, I was very much entertained on that front.

Still, this game has its fair share of flaws.
One of the main issues I often have with fandiscs is that the after-stories tend to recycle the same problems and conflicts that were already resolved in the first game. This repetitiveness can be quite frustrating because it undermines the character growth that was already established in the original game. When I play an otome game FD, I expect the new stories to build on the bonds of the characters, enhance their dynamics, and perhaps further expand the couple’s chemistry. Ideally, it should present new challenges without rehashing old conflicts. This is where certain routes in CP Sweet and Spicy Darling fell short.
Peter’s route in particular suffered greatly from repeated conflicts and his entire story became a total letdown for me. And no, I’m not even referring to his ‘spicy ending’ (which, I could say, was certainly… a choice, lol). 😂🐺 There are also parts of the game where I feel like a few kinks were just thrown around abruptly with no regard for character development. And I get it! They’re trying to go a little extra on the “spicy” element of this franchise but I think it’s also really important to be mindful of their audience’s comfort levels.🤷♀️
Endearing Main and Side Characters
Some routes in this fandisc were certainly better written and paced than others. I’m not gonna lie, Raul definitely carried this entire game for me. Since he was my favorite in the original series, I’m very happy he gets to shine and redeem himself more in this sequel. I could honestly live without playing the other routes and still enjoy this game, all because of this dashing lovable himbo.🥰 I know I’m throwing in big words here (laughs).😂 You know that one route in your otome game collection where you constantly replay just to get that needed serotonin boost? This was it for me! Ha!😁

My gushing aside, I really appreciated how each after-story in this game explored different aspects of relationships. Ryuki and Shelby’s routes delved into the challenges of maintaining a steadfast relationship, while Gill’s route focused on strengthening a couple’s bond through mutual support and encouragement. Raul, Allan, and Peter’s routes highlighted overcoming external challenges as a couple, showcasing their teamwork when faced with obstacles. **I know I was kind of negative towards Peter in my impressions above, but my disappointment stemmed more from the lackadaisical writing rather than Peter himself as a love interest. Peter as a character remained as lovable as ever.

While Merenice’s route was somewhat detached from the original plot, it still held its own. Although his bond with Lynette didn’t have the same depth as the other six parasites, I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, he was still a really good LI nonetheless.
ROUTE RANKING:
RAUL >>>>>>>>> GILL > ALLAN > MERENICE > SHELBY = RYUKI >>>>> PETER
I think the side characters also deserve some recognition in this game. The new ones were really solid, whether they play the role of an antagonist or a comrade. I enjoyed Robin way too much that every time he gets screentime, I’d feel ecstatically giddy. 😂 Eli Omar is such a polarizing character, but he ended up as one of my favorites in this fandisc as well.

Do I recommend this game? YES.
Cupid Parasite: Sweet and Spicy Darling definitely hits the mark when it comes to providing you with the sweet and spicy fanservice you’ve been craving for in an otome game. It is undoubtedly a fandisc worth playing, especially for returning fans of the original series. Although I couldn’t say that this title reached the same level of excellence as its predecessor, it certainly still held its own merits. As long as you can temper your expectations and heed some content warnings for potential landmines in the stories (cause trust, there are a lot!), then you should still be able to fully enjoy this title like I did!

Thank you for the review! I’m so excited to start playing!

As always, much appreciated. I love your more neutral delivery especially since it is clear you are still a huge fan of the genre 💖

oh man, I loved Peter in the first game… Reading that his route bombed really hurts 🥲

Daww, I loved him too in the first game 🥲 and I mean, if you can perhaps overlook the flaws and the repeated issues in it, there’s still plenty of fluff and romance in his route that makes it enjoyable per se.

I understand your Raul bias since I myself have a Ryuki bias. His route was absolutely perfect to me and I will not accept any other conclusion 😤 I do agree that his spicy ending sorta came out of nowhere. But in all honesty I liked Ray too much to care.
Raul’s route made me laugh so much. The whole plot was absolutely insane and I had to just put my switch down and think about what I was reading multiple times. (The lobster totally had a Jamaican accent in my head)
I was extremely surprised to see an Owen “route.” I thought we would get a Zeus route before an Owen one (well…I mean…we kinda did) It was fun to see but him and Melanie are my OTP (Probably another reason I loved Ryuki’s route) I actually really liked Merenice as an LI but I completely agree about him not being able to see her fate. It didn’t really feel like he loved her the same as the other LI’s. (The end where they go to space with the gods chasing them is so iconic though)
Thank you for the walkthroughs and review, they’re wonderful as always.

Oh yeah totally agree on Ryuki! I guess I didn’t emphasized this as much on the review but I absolutely enjoyed Ryuki’s sweet and spicy ending esp since Owen and Melanie are there (they are my otp too haha), and Owen in that one cg was 🥵 !! Not to mention Ryuki’s last 2 CGs with his black hair is just 👌😌
Merenice was such a good LI honestly, just that his route didn’t have the same depth the other LIs had which is a shame cause I really loved him too.🥺 ah well, still a great game at the end of the day! Glad you enjoyed it as well!🥹💕

I always read your reviews before buying an Otome! I haven’t been playing this genre for long and the truth is that it has me very hooked, your reviews serve as a reference for me to know what will be next. Peter and Allan were my two favorites in the original game, I’m a little disappointed by what you said about Peter’s route 😥 I’ll still give him the chance because I really wanted him… but Peter… why?! To Gill I directly hated him in the first game xD Let’s see if my perception of him changes in this one… as always, thank you very much for the review!
