NOTES:
- This walkthrough covers all route endings and CG completion for Hana Awase New Moon Mizuchi Volume only.
- This walkthrough is set up in a way that you won’t have to repeatedly grind during the card games (Hana Utsushi) in each route/ending. If you want to unlock all the CGs, it’s important to follow all the choices in this guide accordingly.
- It’s perfectly A-okay not to create any SAVE files during your first playthrough (Mizuchi’s Good Ending), as you will be repeating everything up to Day 17 to unlock other route endings anyway.
- Lastly, ALWAYS make sure to select the option “Transfer data and play from the beginning” after every ending you unlock. I also recommend creating extra save files after selecting this option to maintain your battle stats without having to grind again—this is especially crucial when unlocking the last additional CGs.
- (Optional) I recommend battling early on in your gameplay (possibly on your second playthrough) all obtainable cards up to Rank 6 (Momotose) while practicing Hana Utsushi (card game) in the Kasen Academy Lecture Hall.
- Hana Awase New Moon order of gameplay: Mizuchi Volume → Himeutsugi Volume → Karakurenai/Utsutsu → Iroha Volume.

FOR CG COMPLETION & GAME OVERS
- You can start this immediately after Iroha’s Ending No. 1. Assuming you have selected the option: “Transfer data and play from the beginning”.😅
- Alternatively, you can load one of the extra Common Route SAVE files you created after selecting “Transfer data and play from the beginning” 🤣 option of your previous gameplays, preferably the one after Iroha’s Ending.
- Make sure your battle stats for “LOVE” is at least level 30 or up.
- The goal here is to reach RANK 1 in the Hana Utsushi card game.

-Battle the student “LOVE ME” Rank 5
NOTE:
- After continuously defeating LOVE ME’s four ranks, the LI’s will slowly show up and challenge you themselves to a battle.
- If the LIs do not appear after reaching RANK 5, then most likely you are loading incorrect save files. A workaround for this is to restart to a previous LI route where your battle stats are high (preferably Iroha’s) and Transfer data and play from the beginning.

GAME OVER

Thank you so much for putting together this walkthrough! When I first purchased the Hana Awase boxed set, I was super excited to play, but 3 hours in, and I was so confused. I also wasn’t aware that there was a strict play order so I started with Himeutsugi 😅 I felt like every choice I made was going to be wrong, and then also put a lot of time into grinding at the lecture hall. It was impossible to find any good walkthroughs online, so I’ve since put the series on the backburner. Your walkthroughs are always so thorough and are a lifesaver, since I don’t really have time to play blind and trial & error. I will definitely put this to good use when I’m ready to go back to Hana Awase, but for now, I’ve got a lot of backlog I’d like to get through first 🙄

Hi, are you planning on uploading a review soon? I really love your review posts since I like to see the VA lists you make as well as your short tags for the LIs!

Yes, hopefully when I get around completing the other two volumes! 😀

I know you’ll finish the other two vol later and write a review, but was wondering if I should purchase the game now since it’s on sale? 😅 does it seem worth it at least for the two vols you played so far?

Mizuchi’s was fun! Hime was alright, I guess lol If it’s on sale and it’s a reasonable price I’d say maybe go for it? 😅

Hello! I’ve been lurking for some time but I really had something I wanted to ask regarding this walkthrough.
For Day 17, no options came up for me. The events happened and I was instantly propelled to Day 18. Is this normal? Or have I messed up my playthrough?
Thank you so much!

Day 17 choice only appears after completing one playthrough, (as indicated above). If this is your first playthrough then that’s normal.

Longtime walkthrough user, first time commenter-
I got Hana Utsushi challenges from the LIs after completing the first two routes (Mizuchi and Himeutsugi) -I think I did waaaay more grinding up front than I needed to… Anyway, I plowed through all four battles on the spot, and only discovered many hours later that I needed to lose to the first three guys to get their CGs. (Once you’ve beaten them, their little I challenge you! dialog doesn’t appear ever again.)
So in case anyone else had this silly problem, it turns out that *even after you’ve beaten that LI*, you can do a rematch, choose ‘give up’ from the menu, and you’ll get their last scene+CG.
(Also, file under things I wish I’d known 20 hours ago, if you bring up the [Y] menu during a match, there’s a full list of card combinations…..)

I started Himeutsugi blind and later realized there’s a recommended play order 😅 haven’t felt like going back to start Mizuchi yet. I spent like 2.5 hours grinding at the first chance we get to “practice” Hana awase at the school club or whatever they call it. I really hope I don’t have to redo all of that when I go back to hime later on…😭
